Have you ever dealt with racism and if so, how did you?

I haven’t suffered from the wrath of any severe racism yet, and I haven’t felt negatively targeted because of my heritage before. There are a lot of stereotypes from which I don’t believe people should use to judge a whole race in general. But, I do think it is worse here, where I live, for people who aren’t as good at English. For example, my dad didn’t like to work here, because he felt like he was looked down on. I was born in Canada, though. If I was being picked on or discriminated against, the way I think I would deal with it is leave, if I can, or call them out on it if I think they’ll treat others the same way. Interesting question, made me think, thanks.
